Fluoride-containing varnish for tooth desensitization (5% NaF)

Hypersensitivity: Hypersensitivity is usually caused by open dentinal tubules. Therefore, the aim of treatment is to seal these tubules permanently.
Profluorid Varnish causes both rapid closure of the dentinal tubules and the formation of calcium fluoride deposits on the tooth surface. These protect, promote remineralization, and contribute to the long-term formation of fluorapatite. In addition, xylitol is added to the varnish, which has taste-improving properties and a proven cariostatic effect.

Indications:

Treatment of hypersensitive teeth Sealing of dentinal tubules during cavity preparations or sensitive root surfaces.
